We're excited about the new Cross Race C:62 frame, and here's why: it features many of the same innovations as our premium carbon cyclocross frame. So, for example, you'll find a semi-integrated seat clamp and the same integrated cable routing running neatly into the top of the head tube, for the same fuss-free performance, low maintenance and clean looks. Crafted from our C:62® carbon using our Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing technology, this is the performance cyclocross frame to elevate your racing to the next level. We built the Cross Race C:62 Pro with one thing in mind: to go racing. We began with Shimano's off-road-specific GRX 1x11 gears and fitted a wide-range 11-42T cassette, so you can keep riding while others are off and running. A Newmen Performance X.R.25 wheelset shod with Schwalbe tyres cuts through the mud to find grip, and Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes give you all the stopping power you need. With an Easton EC90 carbon crank and CUBE finishing components, it's all you need to make a dash for the podium. C:62 CARBON FIBER TECHNOLOGY Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62® carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable. CYCLOCROSS RACE GEOMETRY UCI COMPLIANT If you want to race, there are rules. We know that, which is why all our road race bikes that could be used for racing are fully compliant with UCI regulations on bicycle design and construction. We've created a full range of high performance machines that follow the rules, so you can just concentrate on your performance... ADVANCED TWIN MOLD With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points. GAMIN MOUNT We know that you want to keep track of your performance stats. It's important, which is why we designed a neat, unobtrusive mount for your Garmin. Now you can record and access data wherever you ride, safe in the knowledge that your Garmin unit is securely mounted and out of harm's way. INTEGRATED SEATPOST CLAMP Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important – because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much... INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination – or damage from abrasion – as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.
